Nara Narayan Sevasram Sangha
Nara Narayan Sevasram Sangha (NNSS NGO) is a philanthropic and charitable organization with a firm and enduring commitment to improving the lives of the underprivileged. This guiding principle of concern for the weak and deprived citizens has been the force empowering our members to dedicate their lives to serving humanity. The Sangha was situated in the year 1980 at Bagdah, North 24 Parganas.
It particularly covers the population (male and female) of the poor community of the North 24 Parganas district.
Our Activities
Education
Education is an important matter which helps us to grow and gain knowledge; we provide educational training to the residents. From the beginning of our journey, we have focused on the Child education program and till now 650 children took part in this program.
Health
NNSS NGO arranges health camps to provide basic health services and facilities to poor people. A meeting was held to inform people about the deadly effects of HIV/AIDS on men and women. Health Camps are regularly organized with the help of primary health centers.
Awareness
NNSS NGO wants to create awareness among the common people through awareness programs. We have been generating consciousness among people through leaflets, flyers, and other materials in every camp. They are distributed among people which help them
About The School
Satyananda Vidyaniketan primarily focuses on providing lower costly education to underprivileged children through support school programs in rural areas of Bagdah. We provide free support school assistance to underprivileged children of class (i) to (v) in rural areas. Our effective system includes chapter wise progress and reward mechanisms for fostering continuous growth that has changed the education ecosystem in the rural areas.
We have developed e-learning modules for children based upon their academic syllabus and our teacher uses the e-learning modules for ensuring acute-led learning for the children.
Future Plans
Old-age Home
From, NNSS NGO, we are going to open an Old Age Home to provide care and shelter for senior citizens. The senior citizens of our society are often neglected and sometimes, they are thrown out of their family.
Charitable Hostel
The students who are dedicated to the ideology of Sevashram and wish to make their life disciplined, hardworking person and an active social reformer in their real life, meritorious but unable to lead the family life properly
Rehabilitation Centre
Rehabilitation programs are going to start to reduce the impact of disabilities on the social and economic life of drug -addicts. The programs enable them to undertake income-generating occupations to support themselves,
